This meeting is the final point in the first meeting of French and Israeli specialists in Familial Mediterranean Fever.
Specialists have had the opportunity to work for 2 days on concrete cases. They will share the state of knowledge about the disease and the results of their common reflection.
What can be more reassuring for patients than to see the specialists of two great countries, working together, exchanging, sitting at one table in order to answer all their questions.
Knowledge around the FMF desease continues to widen on a genetic level, on a treatment plan, and on the quality of life.
The patients should be kept informed of these advances.

Thus, this meeting will:

• raise the awareness of French and Israeli organizations that can provide information and documentation on the FMF
• allow the Israeli patients and the Israeli French speaking patients to receive the same amount of information regarding the progress of research on the disease and treatments,
• identify medical specialists in both countries to address in order to be supported and monitored regularly,
• answer questions from patients about their daily lives.

The event is placed under the patronage of the France Israel Foundation.
